Happy Head of School Holiday! Craig Bradley made the surprise announcement last night in Walker Auditorium in honor of Dr. Barbara Mahon ’78, who received the 2024 Alumni Award, The Hotchkiss School’s highest honor.
During the Alumni Award ceremony on Jan. 26, Mahon shared impactful stories of her work as an infectious disease epidemiologist and pediatrician and encouraged students to pursue a career in public health.
Bearcats also received a special Head of School Holiday message from actor Matt Damon, an old friend of Hotchkiss and a very old friend of Keith Moon P'13,'16, the E. Carleton Granbery Teaching Chair, a Lufkin Prize recipient, instructor in English, history, and Russian language, and head coach of boys varsity and JV swimming. "Let's go Hotchkiss Blue!"
