Why did you become an Admission Tour Guide?
I wanted to share my passion for Hotchkiss and help prospective students and their families see what makes our school so special. It's a way for me to give back to the community that has given me so much and share my experience to help others find their place here.
Why do you like leading tours?
It gives me the chance to meet new people from diverse backgrounds and share my personal experiences at Hotchkiss. It's incredibly rewarding to see prospective students get excited about the possibilities here and to help them envision themselves as part of our community.

Why did you become an Admission Tour Guide?
I felt like becoming a tour guide was the perfect way for me to offer my leadership skills to Hotchkiss, and I have a history of leading tours.
Why do you like leading tours?
I love interacting with different families and seeing what prospective students have to offer. Each student has such unique talents, and I enjoy learning about them.
What surprises people the most about Hotchkiss?
Probably how outgoing students are during the tour. After students go out of their way to make the new family feel welcomed, the parents always say something to me about how pleased they are with the students' demeanor.

Why did you become an Admission Tour Guide?
My life has been profoundly changed by Hotchkiss and all of the opportunities it has made available to me, and I was excited by the idea of sharing that enthusiasm and gratitude with prospective students and their families. Whether it's my time spent abroad in France, my class on the history of the Supreme Court, which is both fascinating and challenging, the days spent at the lake, or the community I've found with girls soccer, I've loved my time at Hotchkiss and felt as though I had a lot to say to prospective students about why this school is an incredible place to be.
Why do you like leading tours?
I like leading tours because it's a great opportunity to meet prospective students from across the globe who come from all walks of life. It's also cool to spend 45 minutes walking around campus, reminding myself of all the aspects of Hotchkiss that I appreciate most.
What surprises people the most about Hotchkiss?
I think people are often surprised by the strength of the school community and the emphasis on supporting one another.

Why did you become an Admission Tour Guide?
I became an Admission Tour Guide because I know just how confusing and a little intimidating the admission process can be, and I wanted to help families navigate their way through the process and hopefully make it a little easier. I also wanted to become an Admission Tour Guide because I think possibly being a part of a new Hotchkiss student's journey is really cool.
Why do you like leading tours?
I like leading tours because I really love to get to know the families and the aspects of their lives and personalities that make them who they are. That is part of the reason touring is so cool, you get to meet people with many different backgrounds and learn new things. I also love to lead tours because I love to show families truly how amazing Hotchkiss is for students and how it has become an integral part of my life.
What surprises people the most about Hotchkiss?
I think what surprises people the most is how close-knit the community is. Whenever I give tours I always get a lot of people saying "hello" or just a friendly wave. Whenever things like that happen during tours the families always point out how truly welcoming everyone is, and also how everyone knows everyone.
