The Hotchkiss School is excited to announce an exclusive educational opportunity available to rising lower mids, upper mids, and seniors. After a pilot year in 2019, Hotchkiss Summer Programs is expanding the 2020 “third semester” for-credit course offerings to include Environmental Science: Agroecology; The American Civil War, 1861-1865; and Strength Training and Exercise Science.
Students will reside on campus and earn the equivalent of a semester credit for a four-week course or a quarter credit for a two-week course, which will be noted on the student’s transcript.
Tuition (inclusive of room, board, materials, and travel) for four-week courses, Agroecology and The American Civil War, is $7,400. Tuition for Exercise Science and Strength Training, a two-week course, is $3,500. Summer financial aid funds are available to students who receive financial aid during the standard academic year.
Enrollment is limited for each class. Students will be accepted on a first come, first served basis with preference given to rising seniors.
