Tuesday, August 27 - Proctors arrive between 12:00 and 10:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 29 - New student orientation leaders arrive between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Friday, August 30 - New students arrive between 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 31 - Varsity athletes and mathletes (by invitation only) arrive between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 1 - All remaining students arrive between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
New Students and Families: Important Drop-Off Schedule Details
Please see below for a quick snapshot of what to expect on Friday, August 30. A more detailed schedule and checklist will be provided once you arrive on campus. For further information about getting ready for the school year, please visit the new family webpage.
10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.: New student arrivals at the Mars Athletic Center (GPS address: 22 Limerock Road, Lakeville, CT 06039); (New students and their families should plan to check-in, complete a brief list of registration items, and move into the dorm within this time period.)
10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Welcome center with coffee and refreshments for new students and families is open in the Student Center (Main Building)
11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.: Lunch available in the Student Center (Main Building)
1:45 - 2:15 p.m.: Dorm introductions for new students, families, and dorm faculty (student's dorm common room)
2:15 - 2:45 p.m.: College advisors available to meet with families of new seniors in the College Advising Office (drop in)
2:15 - 3:00 p.m.: New students and families meet briefly with advisors (drop in)
3:00 - 3:30 p.m.: Craig Bradley, head of school, welcomes new students and families in Katherine M. Elfers Hall in the Esther Eastman Music Center
3:45 - 4:15 p.m.: Student and family private farewells
4:30 p.m.: All families depart campus
4:30 p.m.: Orientation begins for new students in the Chapel
6:00 - 7:00 p.m.: Welcome dinner for new students in the Dining Hall
7:15 - 10:00 p.m.: Dorm orientation for new students
