Seniors Chosen for Selective Scholarships and Programs

Next fall, several Hotchkiss seniors will be joining colleges and universities through highly selective programs and scholarships. 

Jailyn Mallard ‘19 will attend New York University as a Martin Luther King Jr. Scholar, one of the university’s most selective honors. Recipients are chosen based on a demonstrated commitment to further the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through excellence in academic achievement, distinguished leadership, and community service.

Szilveszter Palvolgyi ‘19 and Gregoria Serretta Fiorentino ‘19 have been accepted to the University of Pennsylvania as Huntsman Scholars, a highly selective undergraduate business and economics program. Students are chosen for the Huntsman program based on academic excellence and demonstrated ethical leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and career focus. 

Tina Guo ‘19 was admitted to the Brown/RISD dual degree program, a five-year B.A./B.S. and B.F.A track. Only 15 students each year are accepted into the program.
