Dorm Move-In

Upon arrival at the dorms, students and their families can begin to unload their belongings. As previously communicated, this year, students will be getting settled in their rooms with the help of their proctors.

While we wish we could welcome parents into the dorms, for safety reasons, we will not be able to do so. We will make every effort to ensure that every student gets the help they need moving in and getting settled.

As previously communicated, a number of modifications will be made to our dining program to ensure the safety of our community. These will include staggered meal times, more grab-and-go options, and the use of multiple locations across campus (both indoor and outdoor, weather permitting). Plexiglass barriers will be affixed to tables to allow students to enjoy meals with peers and adults while reducing risk.

Daily Schedule

Students will participate in Opening Days activities and start classes from their quarantine space. While the primary purpose will be to reduce the risk of any possible transmission of the novel coronavirus, students will have opportunities to get exercise and to socialize safely outside. Upon arrival, new students will participate in a variety of orientation activities (some online and some physically-distanced). Classes will begin online during the second week of quarantine. At the end of the class day, students will have the opportunity to participate in safe outdoor activities. Students may also spend time outdoors informally.

Course Selections

These are now available in the Parent Portal. Please log in to access your student's information and click on your student's name to find the link labeled "Current Course Selections."

Ordering Textbooks

New and used books are available through the Campus Store and our bookseller, Higher Learning Supply Company. Books may be purchased online. After the quarantine period, students may order books in person at the Campus Store.
