50 years ago their story began. The pioneers, the trailblazers, the boundary pushers. Through their grit and perseverance, they etched their names in the history books and paved the way for generations of Hotchkiss women to come. Building bridges, surpassing milestones, and shattering glass ceilings…they did it all.
And we’re just getting started. In commemorating the past 50 years and in support of the next 50, we will continue to build upon this legacy. By investing in the experience that made us who we are today, and leading the way toward tomorrow.

“Hotchkiss is on the threshold of a great change. In September of 1974 the second chapter of the School’s history will begin. Next year will be an opportunity of a magnitude which may never again be seen for a reevaluation of Hotchkiss, for a reinforcement of her strengths, and for a strengthening of her weaknesses.”
